J.C. passed away today

My uncle J.C. passed away today after another battle with cancer. He suffered a great deal in his final weeks and we will all miss him greatly. His accomplishments, both as a businessman and as a father, grandfather, and, to me, a great uncle, are inspiring and admirable to say the least. We can be at ease knowing his suffering is over and we will see him again.

Madiline Bradley Solomon was born today a little after 4. She weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz.

Phones and Remotes

He has had his own remotes and phones for a long time. Now he knows that some work (ours) and some don't (his), so we have to simulate as best we can. He now has his own DirecTV remote with the batteries taken out, 3 cell phones, two home phones (a cordless identical to the working phones but with stickers on it), and every morning when I get up I have to take the real phone off the charger by the bed, put the charger on the floor and he goes and puts his cordless on that charger. He also has his own real keys but now will only play with the ones that he knows people use.
